About Farmville Baptist Church

Our logo serves as a reminder of the type of church that Farmville strives to be. It is based off of Psalm 1:1-3—How happy is the one who does not walk in the advice of the wicked or stand in the pathway of sinners or sit in the company of mockers! Instead, his delight is in the Lord’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night. He is like a tree planted beside flowing streams that bears its fruit in its season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Our desire is to be a church that is so committed to the Word of God that we are like a tree planted by streams of water. We want to grow, thrive, and flourish for the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom. A tree that bears fruit is a blessing to those around it, and we desire to be a blessing to the surrounding community.

Our Mission Statement & Core Beliefs:

The mission of Farmville Baptist Church is to Exalt the Lord Jesus, Encourage the family of faith, and Engage a broken world.

Three Core Beliefs:

Statement of Faith:

As a Southern Baptist Church, we have adopted the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as our statement of faith.
